Episode 7 (Floyd Sneed)
This week's episode of Guess That Record sees Jackson interviewing Canadian drummer Floyd Sneed. Floyd (who hails from Jackson's hometown of Calgary) is the original drummer for Three Dog Night, serving two stints with the band from 1968-1974, and again from 1981-1984. During his time with the band, Floyd played on the group's biggest hits such as "Joy to the World," "Mama Told Me Not to Come," "Shambala", and "One." Floyd has also been a member of bands such as the short-lived group S.S. Fools (which featured Toto vocalist Bobby Kimball), and Tommy Chong's band Little Daddy and the Bachelors. In this episode, Floyd speaks with Jackson about growing up in Calgary, and breaks down some of Three Dog Night's most well known songs.
